Mainat’s ex-wife gets into new trouble: provisional prison for Dobrowolski for alleged robberies with force in Barcelona

The magistrate of the court of custody of detainees 1 of Barcelona decreed this Saturday provisional detention without bail for Angela Dobrowolski for “participation in several crimes of robbery with force in an inhabited house”. The ex-wife of television producer Josep Maria Mainat has received the order along with another man.

She is charged with six robberies and he with five. The two, who have passed a forensic examination, appeared before the judge this Saturday after being arrested, the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) reported in a statement.

The Provincial Prosecutor’s Office of Barcelona requested this Saturday morning provisional detention for Dobrowolski and the accumulation of said procedures to the Investigating Court number 7 of Barcelona.

This is a new case for which Dobrowolski returns to the public sphere after she was arrested in March by the Mossos d’Esquadra for blowing up a homemade explosive on the landing of a block of flats in Barcelona.

It is not the only legal case that is open. The Prosecutor’s Office asked in June to sentence the German to 16 years in prison for allegedly trying to kill Mainat in 2020; She attributed an alleged crime of discovery and disclosure of secrets to her, and demanded a fine of 6,000 euros and a restraining order from Mainat of 500 meters and eight years after prison.

She was also sentenced to 17 months in prison, a sentence that was suspended, for trying to enter the producer’s home up to four times and thus breaking the restraining orders of her ex-husband. At the same time, she has another open case for breaking the ban on communicating with him. On the other hand, she received a final sentence of two and a half years in prison for forging checks in the name of Mainat.
