Luka Doncic aims for his third consecutive ‘All Star’

MADRID, 6 One. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Dallas Mavericks player Luka Doncic will almost certainly play his third consecutive ‘All Star’ by confirming himself as the second most voted guard for the 2022 appointment, which will be played in Cleveland on February 20, after the NBA revealed the first votes.

The former Real Madrid player is the second most supported ‘guard’ thanks to 787,690 votes and is only being surpassed by Stephen Curry, who accumulates 2,584,623 votes. The Golden State Warriors would be one of the captains and the other, Kevin Durant (2,360,435).

Both players would be the captains -after the first vote count-, of the Western and Eastern Conference, respectively, and of choosing the teams for the NBA All-Star game. In addition to Curry and Durant, Lebron James (2,018,725) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (2,145,835) also appear with many supports.

For his part, DeMar Rozan leads the Eastern Conference ‘point guard’ category with 1,487,598 votes ahead of James Harden (892,065). There is no Spanish player in the first wave of fan voting.
