Luis Suárez: “What has happened to me is a real shame”

In statements provided by Real Zaragoza, Luis Suárez has been outraged at not being able to continue in the Aragonese team to fight in the playoff for promotion to the First Division. This August 5 ended his assignment contract by Watford, a club that did not want to extend it, which has caused the Zaragoza rectors to ask for the championship to be terminated by not being able to compete on equal terms with the rest.

“It is an incredible pity. The ascent is the most beautiful and they don't let me finish what I started with my colleagues. I think these situations had to be ready in time for it not to have happened. I find it a real shame what has happened to me. I think my teammates will notice it in the play off, for any squad being without a player feels. It seems to me a shame that this situation occurs and that the authorities do not take precautions to be taken in these cases, ”he says.

En insists that “today August 5 should have ended everything. I find it a shame that what is supposed to be the best league in the world has no response to these unforeseen events. ”

Finally, he points out that “it hurts me a lot for my colleagues, that we have given everything this season; for the club and for a whole hobby that deserves it. But, in the same way, I trust my colleagues and that they will be able to achieve the objective. I am sure that Real Zaragoza will go up to the First Division ”.

The striker, who has penetrated deep into all levels of the club and the city, has been fired this Wednesday by his colleagues in the sports city.
