It's official now. Aritz López Garai is Albacete's new coach after the removal of Lucas Alcaraz. The Basque coach was currently without a team and has experience in the Second Division since has directed teams such as Reus, Numancia and Tenerife. In his career as a player he played in teams such as Conquense, Celta de Vigo, Sporting de Gijón, Córdoba or Reus among others.
Thus, Lopez Garai becomes the fifth coach since the business group Skylne owns the Albacete since summer 2017 after José Manuel Aira, Enrique Martín, Luis Miguel Rami and Lucas Alcaraz.
He has signed until the end of the season, this afternoon the Basque coach will direct his first training session, tomorrow he will be presented and will debut on Saturday against the Sabadell in the Carlos Belmonte.
