The Spaniard Lluis Planagumà has been appointed as interim coach of the Japanese team Visel Kobe in which Andrés Iniesta playsafter the dismissal of the previous coach, Atsu Miura, due to the poor start to the season, in which he has added four points in the first seven games and has not achieved a victory.
Lluis Planagumà was part of the coaching staff responsible for training the youngest players. The 41-year-old Catalan coach had previously managed Japanese Imabari and, in Spain, Hércules, Granada B, Espanyol B and Villarreal B, among others. “I am confident that if we can work together as one, we will surely be a team that our fans can be proud of,” Planagumà explained to the Japanese club’s official media.
In this way, the Catalan takes command of Vissel Kobe, who is currently sixteenth in the championship, and will train Andrés Iniesta, Sergi Samper or Bojan Krkic. The JLeague will have two Spanish coaches. The other is Albert Puig, who occupies the bench of Tokyo FC, currently fifth in the championship.
