Lleida Esportiu wins 1-2 at the Numancia stadium

Lleida added three points to their locker after winning 1-2 against Numancia this Wednesday at the Nuevo Los Pajaritos. Numancia came into the game in high spirits after winning the last two games of the competition. The most recent was against Ebro at their stadium (2-0) and the other against Teruel away from home (0-2) and with a run of six consecutive victories in the competition. For its part, Lleida Esportiu was defeated 1-0 in the last match they played against Brea. After the match, the local team was left with the leadership of the Second RFEF, while Lleida was in eighth place at the end of the match.

The first half of the game started positively for the eleven from Lleida, who took advantage of the occasion to open the scoring with a goal from Arnau Gaixas in the 39th minute, thus ending the first half with a 0-1 scoreline.

After the break came the goal for the eleven from Soriano, who put the tables through a goal from Agüero in the 59th minute. Lleida Esportiu took the lead thanks to a goal from Honcharuk in the 67th minute, concluding the match with a 1-2 score on the scoreboard.

Both coaches made moves on the benches. The Numancia coach brought on Lupu, Alcázar, David Sanz, Juampa and Pablo Muñoz for Carrillo, Borja San Emeterio, Cotán, Agüero and Ballarín, while Lleida Esportiu brought on David López, Joel Febas, Svitiukha and Fall for Moha Keita, Vicente, Alpha Bagayoko, and Yasser.

The referee decided to admonish eight players. On the part of the locals, the yellow card went to Cotán, Borja San Emeterio, Agüero, Lupu, Tur and Alcázar and on the part of Lleida, Figueras and Monterde were reprimanded.

With 62 points, Diego Martínez’s Numancia continues as the leader of the competition, instead of being promoted, while Gabri’s team was in eighth place with 46 points.

Numancia will face Lleida Esportiu in the next matchday and Lleida Esportiu will play against Numancia.
