ALAVÉS, ALMERÍA AND MALLORCA SURVEY JUANJO NIETO
Juanjo Nieto is in the orbit of several First and Second Division teams after his good season at Real Oviedo. The 26-year-old right-back contract ends on June 30 and it will be free on the market. Real Mallorca and Alavés are clubs that have explored their situation, as have Almería. He was trained in the Castellón quarry. From there it went to subsidiary of Real Valladolid, Atlético Baleares and Real Mallorca B before living his two best seasons as a footballer, in Second Division B, in the ranks of Hercules of Alicante.
After ending contract with Hercules, in June 2019, Elche knocked on his door to reinforce the then team led by Pacheta. However, it was not possible and opted for the offer from Real Oviedo, where during the last two seasons he has been irreplaceable and he has played 60 official matches and scored three goals. Now he has decided not to renew his contract and at 26, he waits for his opportunity to make the jump to the First Division.
