MADRID, 22 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The premium car brands Lexus has become the Official Automotive Partner and Platinum Partner of the ATP circuit, according to a statement.
This important multi-year partnership will allow Lexus to build tournament partnerships in key markets, attracting the most premium fans as an Official Vehicle at a portfolio of ATP Tour events.
This includes the recently announced partnership between Lexus and the LTA in the UK, including the Queen’s and Eastbourne tournaments, as well as the clay-court tournament in Houston, USA.
ATP and Lexus will also work together to establish additional partnerships with ATP tournaments and players, starting this season.
As a highlight, starting in 2023, Lexus will become a Platinum Partner and Official Automotive Partner of the Nitto ATP Finals, taking place from November 12-19 in Turin, Italy, where only the top 8 singles players and the qualified doubles teams will compete for the prestigious title.
Lexus will provide a fleet of electrified models, including the new all-electric Lexus RZ 450e, to support the transportation of players, officials and other guests during the tournament.
Lexus will also have a brand presence throughout the year across ATP Tour digital and social media platforms, including the ATP Head-to-Head Title Partnership, a popular interactive feature that allows fans to explore the rivalries between players on the circuit.
Lexus is a pioneer in electrification in the premium car industry, building a holistic vision of sustainable mobility, called Lexus Electrified. The brand’s wide electrified range includes self-charging hybrids, plug-in hybrids and fully electric models.
Promoting the use of these models during ATP tournaments, in 2023 and beyond, is in line with the ATP Tour’s climate ambitions under ATP Serves and UN Sports for Climate Action, which includes a net zero emissions target by 2040.
