Levante UD will begin their journey towards the group stage of the 2023-2024 Champions League against Icelandic side Stjarnan, according to the draw for this first preliminary round of the top continental competition this Friday.
The ‘granota’ team will face Stjarnan on September 6 and if they win on September 9, they will play the pass to the next round, in which Real Madrid will also enter the fray, against the winner of the duel between the Dutch Twente and the Austrian Sturm Graz.
The Valencian team, which is going down the so-called ‘Sendero de Liga’ due to its third-placed status in the Finetwork Liga F, would join the other three winners of its mini-tournaments, which will be paired with the Madrid team, the German Wolfsburg , the French Paris Saint-Germain, the Czech Sparta Prague, the Swedish Häcken and the English Manchester United, qualified directly for this second round prior to entering the group stage of the Champions League.
