Letizia’s fascination with books at the Frankfurt fair: she repeats the ‘Hugo Boss’ formula with her leather skirt

Closing of the state trip Philip VI y Letizia To Germany. The King and Queen toured the Spanish exhibitors at the 2022 Frankfurt Book Fair this morning, the largest and most prestigious in the world, which this edition welcomes Spain as the guest country. A tribute to our letters, to which the monarch and his wife have joined.

An avid reader, the queen is passionate about books. One of her appointments for her year on her cultural agenda is to visit the booths of the Madrid Book Fair. With gestures of admiration and fascination she has visited the different Spanish stands in Frankfurt.

On the last day of her trip to Germany, the Queen has repeated the Hugo Boss formula, a German house with a huge presence in Letizia’s dressing room. This time, she has paid off her red leather pencil skirt, which she has already sported on several occasions. She has combined this piece, which Meghan Markle also has (in this same color and in green), with a matching jacket. It has been her look recycled from her in Frankfurt.

Spain was the guest of honor at this fair in 1991. This year’s exhibitor program, under the motto overflowing creativity, is based on bibliodiversity, innovation, linguistic plurality, gender equality and sustainability. The participation of more than 70 writers, illustrators, editors, translators, among others, is expected.

The King and Queen’s agenda concludes this morning with the visit of the Head of State to the European Central Bank; and the tour of the Queen at the headquarters of the Cervantes Institute in the city of Frankfurt.
