It is a very summery white dress printed with black flowers, cinched at the waist with a large band of black sequins and a midi-cut flared skirt, designed by Felipe Varela. The queen has combined this look with black patent leather court shoes and a handbag.

At the headquarters of the Royal Academy of Engineering in Madrid, the queen consort presided over the inauguration ceremony of the elected academics Elena García Armada and Ana Conesa Cegarra, both highly relevant figures in their areas of knowledge: the development of exoskeletons with therapeutic purposes and technology applied to genomics, respectively. Let us remember that Mrs. Letizia is committed to the ‘Woman and Engineer’ project and its Strategic Council, in which she wants to promote female vocations in Engineering, as well as to recognize the importance of female talent in companies, universities and organizations.
