Leonor and Ayuso, dressed in red as the princess bids farewell to Portugal

To put the finishing touch to a hectic week, the princess Leonor travels to Lisbon this Friday for her first official solo trip abroad. At around 10:00 a.m., the heir to the throne left Madrid’s Adolfo Suárez airport with her Jose Manuel AlbaresMinister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation. Still in the capital, before heading to the neighbouring country, the daughter of Felipe VI and Doña Letizia has dazzled in an impeccable red suit. A tone that was also chosen by the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayusoto bid farewell to the Princess of Asturias.

Following the inspiration of her mother Queen Letizia – who usually opts for comfortable and elegant outfits for institutional events – the sister of Infanta Sofia has selected a flattering two-piece red dress with a straight cut. As accessories, Princess Leonor has rescued a jewel from the consort’s wardrobe: earrings from the firm Gold & Roses made of rose gold, rubies and diamonds.

As for shoes, the granddaughter of King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia has chosen classic nude stilettos. A comfortable and elegant option to face the long day ahead.

Isabel Díaz Ayuso also chose the colour red. The president of the Community of Madrid, who travelled to the airport to bid farewell to the princess, appeared wearing a red blouse with a V-neck. In order not to steal the spotlight from the heiress, Ayuso combined her blouse with discreet black trousers.
