Leo Meindl breaks his contract with Casademont Zaragoza and goes to Japan

MADRID, 24 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Brazilian forward Leo Meindl has decided to execute the exit clause of his contract with Casademont Zaragoza in order to start a new stage in Japan, the Aragonese club announced this Saturday.

As the entity explains, the player had reached an agreement with the club to be part of the men’s team squad in the 2023-24 season. “This agreement included an exit clause until June 30. The player has decided to execute it to play next season in Japan,” he reported.

“We would have liked Meindl to continue with us, but at Casademont Zaragoza we respect the decision and we wish him the best of luck in his new professional career”, he concluded.

Meindl, who arrived from Romanian Cluj-Napoca, was to become Casademont Zaragoza’s second signing after point guard Trae Bell-Haynes.
