Martí does not come alone to Butarque. It will have its own technical staff, which will mean the final farewell of the assistants that Javier Aguirre had in Butarque. Some had options to follow, such as Pol Lorente or Joseba Ituarte. Finally, the bench will be completely renovated.

Before Martí, Leganés negotiated, as As told, with Juan Ramón López Muñiz, but after two offers, the Asturian broke negotiations with the club, at which point he launched for Martí. It is the second formal offer that Lega had transferred despite having previously shown interest in other profiles, such as Iraola or Idiakez. Martí was used as one more alternative, but his name had not come to the fore.

Martí's last experience on a bench dates from this same season, with Girona, whom he left in promotion positions after his departure. He also played the promotion playoff with Deportivo in 2019 and with Tenerife.

Martí, reports Leganés, will land in Barajas at 9:30 and visit the ID Butarque at 13:00. In the next few hours the club will announce the coach's technical staff and also the preseason configuration.
