Leganés could fire Borja Garcés

Last night the technician of the Leganes, Ander Garitano, made known the act of indiscipline of the footballer Borja Garcés. The Leganés player decided yesterday to travel to Melilla for a wedding without the authorization of the club. In fact, neither the coach nor the coach himself gave the authorization to the player on loan from Atlético de Madrid.

Garitano, as far as he is concerned, has already announced that Borja Garcés will not play again “as long as I am Leganés coach, this boy is not going to play again with the club’s shirt.”

At the same appearance, Garitano explained that “two days ago he asked me for permission to attend the wedding. I don’t give him permission, because we have training. I know he asks the club for it. The club tells him he can’t go. Without permission from the club and From the coach, he does not come to training today and is going to a wedding in Melilla. It seems like an aberration to me. “

We will now see what decision the Madrid club makes with the player. Because this type of conduct is considered very serious. Regardless of what the internal code of conduct of Leganés says, the Liga-AFE agreement is very clear in this regard and considers this type of actions as very serious. Textually grants this severity: “Disobedience that implies a serious breach of discipline or that causes serious damage to the Club / Sad, including the breach of sanction.”

And we will now see what decision Leganés adopts. A position that, according to this Collective Bargaining Agreement itself, could even lead to dismissal. This is stated in article 7 of the aforementioned agreement and in the section on penalties.

In the same part it speaks of “Suspension of employment and salary from eleven to thirty days, a penalty that must be graduated according to the concurrent circumstances” and may lead to dismissal.

In addition, it economically figures this type of very serious actions as follows. Part of a fine of up to 25% of the monthly salary, according to grades:

For those salaries less than or equal to 100,000 euros per month, set several scales:

1.- Minimum: from 7.01% to 13% of the monthly salary.

2.- Medium: from 13.01% to 19% of the monthly salary.

3.-Maximum: from 19.01% to 25% of the monthly salary.

In salaries above 100,000 euros per month, the same table indicated above will be applied in the first 100,000 euros, adding to these amounts the application of the following grades:

1.- Minimum: up to 3.33% of the excess of the monthly salary.

2.- Medium: from 3.34% to 6.66% of the excess of the monthly salary.

3.-Maximum: from 6.67% to 10% of the excess of the monthly salary.

Now it will have to be Leganés who determines the disciplinary measures imposed on the player.
