Last July, the former model from Vigo revealed that she was waiting for a transplant after perforating his cornea and losing the vision of one of his eyes. That day she finally arrived. This Friday, October 7, Laura Ponte has been successfully operated.

Accompanied by her mother and somewhat dazed by the operation, she assures that now she has to be “calm at home, many droplets, very calm and on Monday I will go back for a check-up”, but without a doubt, she is happy with the success of the intervention: ” I have not stopped sleeping, I am phenomenal, everything has been phenomenal”.
At the end of August, Ponte showed himself without filters or makeup and shared the image of his eye, from which he has lost 80% of his vision. “My children say that I look like a cyborg and that I’m very pretty. I really don’t care if I have a white and sewed eye,” she said then.
The model was married to Beltran Gomez-Acebo from 2004 until their separation in 2011. They said “yes, I do” at El Esquileo, her sister-in-law’s farm in Segovia, and they had two children, Laura y louis philipwho are very aware of their mother.
