Laporta also tests positive for Covid

The Barça has communicated tonight that President Joan Laporta has tested positive for coronavirus. The leader, who came to the Ciutat Esportiva this Tuesday morning to do a PCR, was in direct contact yesterday with people who have tested positive for Covid in the last hours, in the case of Ferran Torres, which he presented at the Camp Nou in the morning. The president had been given an antigen test, which had come back negative, and in the afternoon a PCR test, which finally confirmed the viral load.

The Barça has reported at the same time that for this reason “he will not travel with the team to Linares, this Wednesday, or to Granada, next Saturday, and will be confined as indicated by the health authorities.”
