LaLigaSportsTV, LaLiga’s OTT in which you can enjoy live and on-demand content from a wide variety of sports, surpassed one million followers this Wednesday, adding its profiles on the social networks Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok , according to a statement published by the employer.
Since the start of this season, LaLigaSportsTV has experienced a 96% growth in its number of followers, which means practically multiplying by two what it had when the campaign began in July, increasing by more than 500,000 followers.
On social networks, TikTok is the most popular of LaLigaSportsTV with more than 350,000 followers, less than a year after the launch of the LaLigaSportsTV profile on said social network. The LaLiga platform also has more than 313,000 followers on Instagram, more than 280,000 on Facebook, close to 62,000 on YouTube and 47,000 on Twitter.
The majority of this million followers are Spanish, but LaLigaSportsTV accumulates ‘followers’ in Brazil (5%), Morocco, India and Indonesia (4%).
“The basis of the presence of LaLigaSportsTV in social networks is the support for Spanish sport and the promotion of the competitions whose audiovisual rights it has, and among which the National Futsal League, the ASOBAL Handball League, the LEB League Gold for basketball or the AFC Champions League for football, among others, as well as the promotion of content from LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank,” the statement explained.
LaLigaSportsTV can be downloaded for free on Google Play, App Store and App Gallery, and is accessible from mobile phones, tablets, Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Android TV and Huawei), as well as through connectors such as Chromecast or mirroring from a iOS to TV (AirPlay), and also from the website itself. In addition, the LaLigaSportsTV app is also available on Movistar+, Orange and Vodafone decoders.
