LaLiga detects suspicions of fixing only in 13 of 7,809 monitored matches

Only 13 of the 7,809 matches monitored throughout this season LaLiga have been identified by the employer as suspects of tomorrow result, as reported by this body at the end of the football exercise.

In its statement, the body chaired by Javier Tebas points to the influence of the ‘LaLiga sports anti-corruption program’ as a determining factor in the decrease in suspected cases in recent years.

This program emphasizes the preventionwhich warns footballers (this year 138 training courses have been given to more than 3,500 players and coaches) about the criminal consequences that sports corruption entails, a framework in which match-fixing is inscribed, which can entail sentences of up to four years in prison.
