LaLiga assures that beIN has paid “the amounts owed in full”

LaLiga has reported that the beIN Group has paid “the amounts owed in full” for the audiovisual rights of the Spanish competition, after the employer denounced the non-payment and the precautionary measure of the seizure of assets was decreed.

“In relation to the new information released in the media about LaLiga’s relationship with the beIN Group, LaLiga wants to confirm that beIN has paid the amounts owed in full, as well as the interest accrued as a result of said non-payment after a judicially agreed measure precautionary seizure of assets, requested by LaLiga in defense of the audiovisual rights of the clubs,” the employers said in a statement.

“LaLiga trusts that the beIN Group fulfills its contractual obligations in the same way that LaLiga will fulfill its part”, adds LaLiga about beIN, responsible for broadcasting LaLiga matches in 35 countries.
