La Peña Deportiva denounces Valladolid for alleged improper alignment

The Sports Club, a team that was measured in the 1/16 final of the Copa del Rey against Valladolid this past Saturday (1-4 for the Castilians in extra time), has presented in the last hours before the RFEF a letter of complaint for alleged improper alignment of the footballer Lucas de Freitas, during the second part of the extension of said match, as reported by the Santa Eulalia club through an official statement.

The decision has been made by the Board of Directors of the SCR Peña Deportiva in order to ensure the legality and current regulations of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, according to said statement. The Federation has already communicated to the club the acceptance of said writing, as well as Valladolid in order to present the allegations that it deems appropriate.

La Peña Deportiva highlights in its statement its maximum
respect to Real Valladolid CF and its fans, and will not make any kind of statements until there is an official opinion from the competition committee.

The claim of the Peña Deportiva is based on the fact that Valladolid made its sixth
change, to which he has the right to enter the game in overtime, starting on second period of time added, specifically in minute 111 of the game, corresponding to minute 6 of the second period of said extension.

Those responsible for the Peña Deportiva understand that, regulations in hand, this sixth change can only be made before the start of the extension or failing that, in the break time between your first half and the second.
