Kroos: “I feel good, I have more rest than normal”

MADRID, 12 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos confessed to being in a good moment, also thanks to “more rest than normal”, and in turn valued the white team’s good start to the season, with 10 wins in 11 games, although “there are always things that improve”.

“The team is pretty good. We have won 10 of the 11 games we have played, we have only lost one. That means we are doing things well. It is the start of the season and it is normal that there are always things to improve, but we are leaders in the League and our Champions group,” he explains in statements to Real Madrid TV, reported by Europa Press.

The German acknowledges a season with fewer minutes than usual but celebrates being in good condition at 33 years old. “I try to prepare in the best possible way to be able to play like this. I have been here for a long time and it is important to take care of my body every day. The rest will come because the quality with the ball is not lost so quickly. I feel good and I also have more rest than normal,” he says.

“I am happy with the team’s level and with mine. I hope we continue like this. For us it is important to do things as a team because it is the only way to win. In addition, there is the mentality of what we have already known how to do for many years , and it means believing until the end,” he says about the group.

Kroos also emphasizes that fight until the end in the games that has given many points to Carlo Ancelotti’s team. “We have won many games or scored many points in the last ten or five minutes. It is important to believe until the end and be able to change games or score goals. We know that the most complicated thing is yet to come,” he concludes.
