This Thursday, Spanish defender Kike Salas extended his contract with Sevilla FC for three more seasons, which expired in 2026, so he will remain linked to the club where he is a youth player until June 30, 2029, according to a statement.
“Sevilla FC and its player Enrique Jesús Salas Valiente, known in sports as Kike Salas, have reached an agreement to extend the youth squad’s contract until June 30, 2029,” the entity reported on its website and through a video. on social networks in which the club highlights its youth team and the figure of Jesús Navas.
The 22-year-old defender, who in January 2023 renewed until 2026 to go on loan to CD Tenerife, therefore adds three more seasons to his contract with the Nervionense first team, since his previous contract expired in 2026.
Salas arrived at the Sevilla youth academy at the age of 13, still in the youth category, and made his debut with the Nervionense reserve team in January 2021. With the first team, the defender played his first official match on September 10, 2022 against RCD Espanyol in League, accumulating since then 52 games, 4 goals and 3 assists.
In the current LaLiga EA Sports 2024-2025 season, Salas has already played 14 games, 9 of them as a starter. In addition, he is already an Under-21 international, after making his debut with the national team last November.
