Keylor will miss the games against Canada and Honduras

The goalkeeper of Paris Saint Germain Keylor Navas he will miss the qualifying matches of the Qatar World Cup that the Costa Rican team will play this Friday with Canada due to a sprained right elbow and next Tuesday against Honduras.

The Costa Rican Football Federation (Fedef Fútbol) reported this Sunday in a statement the scope of the injury of Navas while the technical team of the selection decided to call Kevin Briceño.

“After an MRI it was determined that the player suffers from a sprain with difficulty in extending the limb,” reported Fedef Fútbol.

Costa Rica will visit the Canadian team on November 12 in fulfillment of the seventh day of the final octagonal of the Concacaf and four days later he will receive the Honduras.

In the absence of eight days until the end of the qualifying rounds of the Concacaf the Costa Rican team is fifth with six units out of eighteen possible.
