The jury has deliberated the decision for just under 90 minutes and has concluded that the protagonist of House of Cards “He is not responsible” within the framework of the lawsuit filed by both men, in which they claimed that the interpreter sexually assaulted him in the 1980s, when they were minors.

In this way, the judge Lewis Kaplanof the district of New York, has formally dismissed the case after initially rejecting and before the trial began, the claim of assault, as well as that of “intentionally inflicting emotional distress”, for which it continued deliberating only the of aggression.
Rapp was the first to bring charges against Spacey in October 2017. The actor alleged that Spacey invited him to a party at his apartment in 1986 when he was 14 and performing a play on Broadway. During the party, the ‘American Beauty’ star, then 27, grabbed him by the buttocks, led him to a bed and laid on him. The alleged victim claims that he was able to flee to a bathroom and then left the house.
The second plaintiff identified himself only as CD The complaint stated that Spacey met this man in 1981, when he was a student in the acting class taught by the artist. The young man was 12 years old at the time.
Spacey allegedly met CD again when he was 14 years old and invited the teenager to his apartment. CD alleges that he had sex with the actor. As the lawsuit states, they had several sexual encounters afterwards. In their final encounter, the accused tried to penetrate the young man, who refused and was able to flee the apartment.
The lawsuit claims that both Rapp and CD have suffered psychological damage due to abuse by the performer.
