Kenedy, collateral victim of the pandemic: one month off due to injury

The precarious conditions in which Granada had to face the game last Sunday at the Reale Arena in San Sebastián against Real Sociedad are taking their toll. Robert Kenedy will be out for a month due to a grade II fibrillar lesion in the left semimembranosus.

Under normal conditions the Brazilian would not have played this game. He wouldn't even have traveled. But he was forced to force the machine to prevent Granada from being sanctioned for failure to appear. So he jumped onto the pitch in the wrong conditions. And during the game this injury was consummated that will have him in recovery. That day Granada could only bring seven professionals, with the aforementioned Kenedy and Soldier depleted and the game ended with only four. The Royal Society did not file a claim for improper alignment.

And is that the reality of Granada is unusual. He has part of his staff confined and working at home. Others like Soldier, Jorge Molina and Eteki did it in the Sports City and several are with their national teams. On Sunday, the squad will pass new PCR tests thinking about the next match against Valladolid.
