Keidi Baré will provide liquidity to Atlético's box

The quarry is of great importance at Atlético de Madrid. Beyond constantly contributing players to the first team (Saúl, Koke, Thomas or, more recently Manu Sánchez), also can be a source of income if they fail to consolidate with the elderly or seek a change in their career. There are several youth squads who have abandoned the rojiblanca squad in recent years leaving a good amount of money in the coffers of the club (this summer Bayern Munich paid 80 million euros for Lucas Hernández).

A common policy for clubs when releasing players from lower categories is keep a percentage of your rights for, in case they perform well at their destination club and sell you, obtain revenues from that future operation. An example of this type of situation is Keidi Baré. The 22-year-old Albanian midfielder joined Atlético in the winter market of the 2013-14 season to join Juvenil B. It was moving up categories to debut with the first team in the return of the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey against Las Palmas in the late Vicente Calderón in the 2016-17 season. He also participated in the first leg of the first round of the k.o tournament. the following campaign against Elche at Martínez Valero. In total he added 70 minutes with Simeone's.

Finally Keidi he was released from Atlético to Málaga almost two years ago (at the beginning of the 2018-19 season). In exchange for not charging anything for the transfer, mattresses kept 20% of their rights to receive an amount in case it was sold by the malacitanos to a third club.

This season, Baré has been one of the pillars of the Andalusian team at LaLiga Smartbank, playing 2315 minutes in 30 games and scoring a goal (against Sporting de Gijón in El Molinón on Matchday 40). That has caused has caught the attention of various clubs, both First and Second, that are interested in getting their services. The one with the most options to get it is the recently descended Espanyol, who would be willing to pay a figure close to two million euros. Therefore, Atlético would correspond to about 400,000 euros, a figure not very high but that, in these times of post-pandemic crisis, helps increase the liquidity of the athletic fund.
