Kate Middleton steals the spotlight from Charles III in the traditional family photo from the balcony of Buckingham Palace

Kate Middleton has stolen the spotlight Carlos III at Trooping the Color 2024, an event held every year in London in honor of the monarch’s birthday. After arriving in the official car in the company of Prince Guillermo and her three children, the Princess of Wales has captured all eyes on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

Before posing with the rest of the members of the royal family, Kate went out to the balcony with little George, Charlotte and Louis to watch the great military parade. In the snapshot, the princess appears tucking in her children, but without the company of her husband, Prince William.

A few minutes later, the entire British royal family made their traditional greeting from the balcony of Buckingham Palace. On several occasions, the complicity between Kate and Prince William has been palpable. Likewise, those who have also demonstrated their great union have been Carlos III and Camilla.

This edition of Trooping the Color was very significant for King Charles III, as it was the first time that the British monarch presided over the military parade after his cancer diagnosis. However, the one in charge of capturing all eyes has been Kate Middleton. And is not for less. The Princess of Wales had not appeared at any public event since December 25, when she attended Sandringham Church with Prince William and his children to celebrate Christmas Day. After months of rumors and speculation, Carlos III’s daughter-in-law announced his cancer diagnosis last March through a video.
