Juventus announced this Wednesday that its sports director, Fabio Paratici, is leaving the club, which has not renewed his contract, after eleven years. A march that is part of the crisis experienced by Juve this year, in which it finished fourth in Serie A and until the last day it has not been able to ensure its participation in the next Champions League.
Paratici, 48, said in her farewell statement: “They were wonderful years in which I flourished professionally and experienced tremendous emotions. An important chapter of my career is coming to an end, as I await new challenges ”.
The until now sports director of the black and white club joined Juventus in 2010 from Sampdoria as technical coordinator before becoming technical director in 2018 after the departure of Giuseppe Marotta. The Turin club highlighted this Wednesday that with Paratici “they have won 19 titles in 11 years.”
Paratici's replacement could be Federico Cherubini. The continuity of Andrea Pirlo, the Juventus coach, who could be relieved by Massimiliano Allegri, is also up in the air.
