BARCELONA, 9 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The FC Barcelona player Jules Koundé will be out for the Blaugrana team’s next matches due to a sprained ligament in his left knee that occurred in an action during this Sunday’s match against Granada at the Nuevo Los Cármenes, which finished 2 -2.

“The tests carried out have shown that the first team player Jules Kounde suffers a sprain in the internal lateral ligament of his left knee. It is low and his evolution will determine his availability,” the Blaugrana club announced.

The center back asked for a change – Ronald Araujo came on in his place – after noticing discomfort in his knee. An action in which he knew that he had been injured and that caused the player to leave the game visibly angry, throwing his protections to the ground.

Koundé, in addition, is also withdrawn from his commitments with the French team during this LaLiga EA Sports break. An injury that would leave the French center back out of the group for around a month.

This season the centre-back played in all 11 FC Barcelona games: nine in LaLiga and two in the Champions League, starting ten of these games.
