‘Juanito‘, the biographical documentary about the legendary soccer player John Gomezdirected by Juan Miguel del Castillo and produced by Magnetics Filmsopens this Friday in various commercial rooms of Madrid, Sevilla y Fuengirola (Málaga), his native town.
The film, with a length of 69 minutes and a script by Alexander Torreshad a great reception at the premiere that took place in the Documentary Section of the 25th Malaga Festival, last March, takes a look at the career of the footballer who played for the Burgosthe Real Madrid and Malagabeing an absolute international with Spain on 39 occasions.
Converted into a coach, Juanito died in a traffic accident at the age of 37 when he was directing the Merida Sports Clubwhen he was a legend for Real Madrid who still today, thirty years after his death, chants the refrain “illa, illa, illa, Juanito marvel” in the Santiago Bernabeu.
The documentary ‘Juanito‘ collects testimonies from relatives, former teammates, coaches and journalists from around the world and has the participation of South Channel Televisionas well as with the collaboration of the city councils of Madrid y Fuengirola.
The documentary can be seen in cinemas from Friday, June 3 to Wednesday, every day, a single screening at 8:00 p.m. in cinemas Paz y Palacio of Ice of Madridthe multiplex Nervion Square in Seville and the cinemas Moranar of Fuengirola.
