Juancho Hernangómez, transferred to San Antonio Spurs

MADRID, 20 One. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish forward Juancho Hernangómez, until now a Boston Celtics player, has been transferred this morning to the San Antonio Spurs, who also get a second round of the 2028 draft of the Denver Nuggets, according to the franchise in a statement.

In the three-team deal, San Antonio sends point guard Bryn Forbes to Denver, while Boston acquires Bol Bol and PJ Dozier from the Nuggets.

Hernangómez has appeared in 18 games for the Celtics this season. Since he was selected in 15th place in the 2016 Draft by the Nuggets, the Spaniard has played for three teams in his career (Denver, Minnesota and Boston), after a brief stint last summer with the Grizzlies, with whom he did not reach debut. He averages 5.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in 275 games in his six-year career in the NBA.
