Juan Cruz renews with Betis until 2025

MADRID, 21 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Betis reached an agreement this Friday for the renewal of Juan Cruz, a winger from the Verdiblanca academy who already made his debut with the first team last Sunday and thus extends his relationship with the club until 2025.

“Real Betis Balompié and Juan Cruz have agreed to extend the relationship between both parties. In this way, the Spanish-Argentine footballer will continue to be linked to the Club de las Trece Barras until 2025,” the club said in a statement.

The Verdiblanco player already made his debut in LaLiga Santander with Real Betis against UD Almería (3-1) last Sunday and again participated in the final stretch of the last game in Cádiz (0-0) this Wednesday.

The youth squad (Quilmes, April 25, 2000) landed at the Verdiblanca school last year from the lower categories of Málaga CF, where he made his debut in the highest category of Spanish football in the 2017/18 season.

The good numbers of the Spanish-Argentinean in this league start with the subsidiary (four goals) served to knock on the doors of the first team, where he has become one of Manuel Pellegrini’s regulars for his training sessions.

As an international, in 2018 he was proclaimed champion of the Mediterranean Games with the Spanish under-18 team.
