The emeritus king, Juan Carlos I, is already in London enjoying a night on the town, visiting exclusive establishments and meeting up with old friends. The father of King Felipe VI has tried to manage his arrival in England with absolute discretion, but he has not been able to avoid being seen at the gates of Oswald, the most exclusive private club in the British capital.
The emeritus has been photographed this Monday night when he was leaving the Oswald, to go to his accommodation, either at the Claridge’s hotel, where the emeritus kings have stayed on the last occasion in which they have been in London, on the occasion of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II last September, or in the Savoy, the second most used accommodation by members of European royalty when they come to the city.
Don Juan Carlos will remain in the British capital until this Wednesday, which is the day he plans to fly to the city of Vigo to spend the rest of the week in Sanxenxo with his Bribón team, the 6m category boat with which he traditionally participated in the regattas.
