The coach celebrates 100 games in office
MADRID, 29 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The women’s national soccer coach, Jorge Vilda, became his centenary in office by completing 100 games this Thursday, in the friendly against Panama at the Román Suárez Puerta de Avilés Stadium.
Vilda, the first to reach this figure, reached the round mark less than a month after the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand where Spain allows itself to dream of something big. The Madrid coach has 68 wins, 16 draws and 16 losses.
The match against Panama is the last before Vilda gives this Friday the list of summoned to go to the World Cup that takes place from July 20 to August 20.
Vilda came to the bench of the national team in July 2015 and in these eight years Spain has not missed a major championship, won an Algarve Cup and reached number six in the FIFA ranking.
