Joaquín says goodbye: “I have fulfilled the dream of any Malaga man”

Joaquín Muñoz wanted to publicly say goodbye to Malaga and of his hobby with a letter through his social networks. The winger claims to have “fulfilled the dream of any boy from Malaga” and to feel “privileged” for wearing the blue and white shirt and being part of “a little piece of your history”. His desire to play as a blue and white at La Rosaleda was key to his arrival at Martiricos on the last day of the last summer market.

Now he closes this stage in Malaga as “a malaguista at heart”, as he defines himself, and he will have to return to Huesca, a club that owns its rights and has just been relegated to the Second Division. It remains to be seen if he stays at the Alto Aragonese club or if, on the contrary, he will look for a way out again. Joaquín, just in case, opens the door to meet Malaga again in the future: “I hope that one day our paths will cross again”.

The footballer also wanted to publicly thank his teammates, coaching staff, medical staff, retractors, the 'pichitas' (utilleros), club staff and the fans.

The full letter made public by Joaquín Muñoz through his social networks is the following:

“Malaga, it is time to separate our paths. We have laughed, we have cried, but above all we have enjoyed an atypical season for our club. I have been privileged to have been able to wear this shirt, to have been part of a little piece of your history and to have fulfilled the dream of any boy from Malaga. Here I have grown as a player, but above all as a person. I hope that one day our paths cross again. Yours sincerely, a Malaguista at heart ”.
