Joao Félix looks at the Clásico: “It was just a blow”

The Barça player asked for the change against Shakhtar but he will be against Real Madrid

MADRID, 25 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

FC Barcelona player Joao Félix reassured the Barça fans this Wednesday by explaining that his substitution against Shakhtar Donetsk was only due to a knock, meaning he will be available for the duel against Real Madrid next Saturday.

“I’m fine, it was just a blow. Recover and prepare for the next game,” the Portuguese wrote on his social networks, shortly after the Champions League match that ended 2-1 at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

Félix himself asked for the change in the 75th minute, although he already told the doctors that he had suffered a blow to his quadriceps. The fear of injury hovered over the Barça stands, especially before the imminent League Classic and with an already depleted squad.

However, the midfielder wanted to reassure the Barça fans, declaring himself fit to face Madrid for the league lead, something that Jules Kounde, Sergi Roberto, Raphinha, Frenkie De Jong, Pedri and Robert Lewandowski cannot say.
