Joao Félix and Lemar, injured in the hamstring muscle of the left thigh

MADRID, 18 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Atlético de Madrid players Joao Félix and Thomas Lemar suffer two injuries to the hamstring muscles of the left thigh that are pending evolution, as reported by the rojiblanco club in a statement on Monday.

“Joao Félix and Thomas Lemar suffer injuries to the hamstring muscles of the left thigh. Both players, who were substituted at half-time in the duel that measured our team against RCD Espanyol, underwent medical tests at the University Clinic of Navarra and they are pending evolution”, reported the Madrid team.

Although the statement does not mark an estimated time off for both players, neither the striker nor the midfielder will be able to be in the game this Wednesday (7:00 p.m.) that pits Atlético against Granada at the Wanda Metropolitano, corresponding to matchday 33 of LaLiga Santander.

“Our players will begin physiotherapy sessions and work in the gym,” the statement concluded, confirming that they could not accompany their teammates in the training session this Monday on the lawn of the sports city of Majadahonda.
