The details of the complaint against Dani Alves
The events occurred last morning from December 30 to 31 at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona. The alleged victim accessed the VIP area, along with some friends, where she shared a table with Alves and his group. In her statement, she claims that the soccer player followed her into the bathroom, where she allegedly inserted her hand under her underwear before cornering her in a cubicle with no cameras and penetrating her. Afterwards, always according to the woman’s story, she slapped him and returned to the disco. She followed him and continued dancing until Alves left. It was then when she told her friends what had happened and they were safe in the room, that she quickly called the Mossos d’Esquadra.
The girl gave a statement and was taken to a hospital, where she was recognized and an expert report was prepared. Days later, she formalized the complaint at the Les Corts police station. Among the evidence presented by the plaintiff’s defense is the 46-second video of the nightclub, which shows how Alves follows the girl to the toilets. He admits that he was at the disco with the girl but denies everything else.
