MADRID, 1 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish rider Joan Mir (Repsol Honda) has assured that they have “improved” their “base” for the French Grand Prix, the next event in the Motorcycle World Championship, and has recognized that the Jerez test on Monday has served them to ” try a lot of different things.”
“It has been a positive day in general. We have worked to improve our base configuration and we have been able to test many different things, such as aerodynamics and some elements to feel more comfortable on the bike,” he said in statements provided by his team.
The Spaniard was fifteenth in a day in which he completed 67 laps despite crashing. “Falling out during a test complicates things because you have to change your plans a bit, even so we have completed most of the things planned. I think we have improved our base, which will help us for the next race. An intense test but short; now we’ll try to relax a bit and come back stronger at Le Mans,” he concluded.
