MADRID, 10 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish MotoGP rider Joan Mir (Repsol Honda) wants to “take as motivation” in this weekend’s Indonesian Grand Prix “some disappointments” suffered in the previous event held in Motegi (Japan) where he could not advance to the ‘ Q2’ nor finish among the best in Sunday’s race.
“We arrived in Indonesia renewed after spending a week at home and ready to start. In Japan we had some disappointments, but we are going to leave it behind and take it as motivation,” Joan Mir warned in statements provided this Tuesday by his team.
The Spaniard pointed out that last year he achieved “a good result” on the Mandalika track by finishing sixth “in very complicated conditions.” “So we will have to see what is possible this weekend and also what the weather is like. For now, the weather forecasts point to it being very hot,” he said.
