MADRID, 1 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Argentine midfielder Javier Pastore will continue to be an Elche player in the 2022-23 season, after the club announced the extension of the bond with the 33-year-old footballer, who will be in his second year at Martínez Valero.
Pastore was “very happy” to be able to stay “one more year in Elche and to be able to participate in such an important year for the club as it is the centenary”. The Argentine was one of the most notorious signings of the team from Elche last season.
The midfielder played 15 games last season, 7 of them as a starter. “I want to tell you that for my part you are going to see a completely different player than last year, I am very excited and very different physically,” he commented.
“Thank you very much for all the love last year and this season it’s my turn to give back to you on the field. I hope we can all have fun together and that the stadium is a party. A lot of Elche!” Pastore concluded.
