The CD Ibiza Islas Pitiusas footballer Jaume Villar assured this Friday that they hope to “surprise” against Real Betis, their rival in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey and current champion of the tournament, because otherwise they would stay “in House”.
“We are very happy to face the Cup champion, it is unprecedented for us. I personally wanted Barça, but the majority of the team wanted Real Madrid,” the player confessed to the media after the draw held at Real’s headquarters Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) in Las Rozas.
The Balearic team beat Eibar (1-0) in the second round of this “beautiful” tournament and they hope to “surprise” again against the Verdiblanco team. “Otherwise we would not participate, we would stay at home.
