James Rodríguez leaves Rayo Vallecano and signs for the Mexican León

MADRID, 13 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Colombian midfielder James Rodríguez leaves Rayo Vallecano and will play for Club León, after the Madrid club reached an agreement this Monday for his transfer to the Mexican team.

“Rayo Vallecano of Madrid and Club León of Mexico have reached an agreement for the transfer of James Rodriguez,” confirmed the Rayo entity. “From the club we wish James the best of luck in his new stage,” he added.

In this way, the ‘coffee’ international ends his relationship with Rayo, where he arrived last summer as a free agent and where he has played seven games, six in LaLiga EA Sports and one in the Copa del Rey. Thus, he closes his second adventure in Spain, where he already played for Real Madrid between 2014 and 2020.
