The Cadiz announced this Tuesday the renewal of the striker Ivan Chapela for two more seasons, until June 2024, after having risen from the reserve team to the first team last season.

Chapel, 23 years old, jumped to the yellow first team during his third season in the Cádiz B and from the hand of Alvaro Cerveralater dismissed and who gave him the opportunity to debut in the First Division, a category in which he played nine games in LaLiga Santander, four of them as a starter.
The young striker from Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz) made his debut on matchday eight at the Nuevo Mirandilla stadium against Valencia (0-0), game in which he came out in the second half and played 19′.
He debuted as a starter at La Cerámica
His debut as a starter was on matchday eleven, at the La Cerámica stadium against Villarreal (3-3), and also started from the start in the draw against Mallorca (1-1) and in the defeats against Sevilla (0-1) y health (2-0).
As a substitute, he also played in the second parts of the matches lost against Getafe (4-0) y Atlético (1-4), as well as in the match tied in the first round at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium against Real Madrid (0-0).
The only victory in which he participated was the one achieved in San Mamés against Athletic Club (0-1), match in which he played 44′.
