Italian driver Luca Salvadori dies after accident in Germany

Italian driver Luca Salvadori died this Sunday at the age of 32 after being seriously injured in an accident on the German circuit of Frohburg during a round of the International Road Racing Championship (IRRC).

“It is with infinite pain that we announce the loss of our Luca Salvadori. After an accident on the Frohburg road circuit, the multiple injuries he suffered did not allow him to survive and he has left us. We express our deepest condolences and join his family,” his team, Broncos Racing, confirmed on the social network Instagram.

The accident occurred during Saturday’s qualifying session, when German driver Didier Grams crashed at the corner in front of the paddock and Salvadori was involved. He was taken to hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.

Salvadori, born in Milan in 1992, competed in the MotoE World Championship during his career and also participated in the Superbike World Championship in the WorldSSP and STK1000 categories. In addition, in recent years he had stood out as an ‘influencer’ and made videos on YouTube.
