“It was good for Córdoba to change a bit of scenery”

Unai Nuñez went up to the first team led by Ziganda. He did it together with Córdoba, who this season has had to go on loan. A knee operation also forced him to miss the last games with Alavés.

How do you think the transfer to Iñigo Córdoba has come about?

To my friend and colleague Córdoba. I think it was good for him to change a bit of scene. He needed to have those minutes that he would be able to have for us here, even though he had the season he had at Alavés.

Why do you think a change of scenery was good for you?

To know a little what you have at home. The bad luck is that he has had to operate on his knee, but he will surely come back stronger head and physically.

Despite the fact that things have not gone well for you at Alavés?

Many times either it turns out very well or it turns out very badly. I don't think it went completely wrong. They will have learned when going out, that it is a way of seeing how the rest of the clubs are doing, of living the fight for salvation, of meeting other teammates and other ways of training. Córdoba is going to come better and safe than recovered from the operation.
