Mario Hemoso has highlighted the preparation work carried out this week in Segovia as one of the “fundamental parts” of this pre-season stretch, since it is “essential” to arrive “in the best conditions at the start of La Liga.”
In statements provided this Saturday by the club, the rojiblanco has acknowledged that these days of preparation in his traditional summer destination in Segovia have been “intense”, but stressed that they always get “good results.”
In addition, Hermoso has explained that a drop in level has not been noticed in these trainings despite the fact that they were missing many internationals and they had to replace themselves with players from the subsidiary who have done a “fantastic job”. To the point that “the difference has not been noticed” thanks to “their commitment and their desire to learn”.
Finally, the defender has reflected that there is still a month to complete the preparation and to incorporate the teammates who have played competitions with their national teams and thus face the start of the league in the best way.
The Atlético de Madrid has ended its pre-season concentration in the Segovian town of Los Ángeles de San Rafael, with a final training session held on Saturday morning.
