Isabel García, president of Salvamento y Socorrismo, included in the ‘Top Women in Sports’

The president of the Royal Spanish Federation of Rescue and First Aid (RFESS), Isabel García Sanz, has been chosen among the one hundred members of the ‘Top Women in Sports’ ranking, which recognizes the talent and performance of women in the world of sports .

This first classification has been an initiative of 20minutos and Women’s Sports Institute and has had the collaboration of Mujer.es, vertical of the Henneo group.

In this ranking “the talent and performance of women in the world of sport is recognized annually, highlighting their growing capacity for influence,” according to the Women’s Sports Institute.

Isabel García has been chosen within the category of director, where there are women from sports organizations and private companies, and they also fall into the sports career, revelation athlete, Paralympic athlete, coaching staff and sports journalist.

Along with the president of Rescue and First Aid, other female sports figures appear in the ranking, such as Élida Alfaro, Benilde Vázquez, Beatriz Carrretero, Lydia Sempere, Adiaratou, Isabel Iturbe, Anna Montañana, Eleonora Giovio, Angie Rigueiro, the FC Barcelona player Alexia Putellas and the Olympic karate champion Sandra Sánchez.

In addition to chairing the Spanish Federation, Isabel García Sanz is president of the Latin American Federation of Rescue and First Aid, is vice president of the European Federation of Rescue and belongs to the executives of the International Federation of Rescue and the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE).
