Irene’s graduation at the Four Seasons in Geneva comes out at a peak: more than 2,000 euros per head

Irene’s graduation has become a media scene that has far exceeded the typical family event. It has been lucky my big swiss graduation at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva. The King’s family, which is made up of his emeritus parents and his sisters with their respective children, set up a conclave in the most expensive city in Europe. An event that was joined by two in-laws: Iñaki Urdangarin and his mother, Claire Liebaert, as Irene’s father and grandmother, as can be seen in the images that we have published exclusively in this digital.

The Urdangarin Borbón chose the super exclusive Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues. A five star. Not only to stay, but also to celebrate the banquet after the graduation of the youngest Irene. The high-luxury establishment, a historic and palatial building from 1834 overlooking Lake Geneva, offers standard rooms for around 1,500 euros per night. They are designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon. High ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, and a marble bathroom with tub and shower.

The hotel also offers the possibility of tasting Italian gastronomy at Il Lago, with a Michelin star (124 euros per person, approximately). To this disbursement must be added the plane. The direct flight from Madrid, 391 euros (in Iberia). In the case of JUan Carlos I and his grandson Froilán, who were flying from Abu Dhabi, the ticket costs about 615 (with Qatar Airways).

The estimated cost per person of this graduation festival would reach 2,015 euros, plus the corresponding transfers from the airport, plus meals. All this if the guests spend only one night in the hotel. If two have passed (another 1,500). All this without counting on Iñaki’s bodyguard.

The moment of the reunion of Iñaki Urdangarin and Juan Carlos I

The great moment of this event has been that first contact between Don Juan Carlos I and his son-in-law, Iñaki Urdangarin. According to what Paloma García Pelayo has recounted in El programa de Ana Rosa, “some words were exchanged” and they had “a very short conversation.” Paloma relates that the king answered Iñaki, that he “is fine”, but that he is “somewhat bored in Abu Dhabi”. Apparently there was some tension. He is less than a year away from serving his sentence. Don Juan Carlos and his son-in-law shook “a little”, says Paloma and came to touch “part of the arm”. It was only an instant. One of the grandchildren approached to relieve tension at the moment.
